I spent 13 years as a teacher in Title I schools in Florida. I have taught K-12 and spring boarded the craziness of teaching into a decade-long stand up comedy and speaking career. Currently, I host the wildly popular “Crying in My Car: A Podcast for Teachers” and have pursued activism for teachers by producing the series “The State of Teaching”, interviewing the Secretary of Education and starting my own non-profit charity to help teachers and their pets called Teachers Pet.
